This time we’ll be covering the VOOPOO Vinci Pod Kit. It is a new release – despite looking and sounding like a previous Vinci Kit! Let’s dive in for more details.
VOOPOO Vinci Pod Kit is more basic than a lot of the Vinci range featuring a single output and fixed coil pods. Its body is designed with a multi-layer finish, which is marketed as being Oil proof, Fingerprint proof, fadeproof, waterproof and antishock. The main device houses an 800mAh internal battery which is recharged via the USB Type-C port. A colour LED in the shape of the “GENE” logo displays the battery level remaining – Green = 60% or above, Blue = 20-60% and less than 20%= Red. The GENE logo is there as this device has the well-loved GENE chipset which will keep the output at a steady 15W and controls the draw activation system.
Basically, when you inhale on the mouthpiece a sensor informs the chip and the coil is heated to provide the vapour. On the side of this pod vape device is an airflow control slider – when moved to the top setting the airflow is tighter and when pushed down the airflow is looser. The pod is refillable with up to 2ml of your own e-liquid via the side fill port. Inside the pod is an integrated 0.8ohm coil – you cannot replace it when the flavour starts to deteriorate but replace the whole pod with a new one. VOOPOO say that the pod is extra leak-resistant as it recycles any un-vaporised e-liquid by allowing it back through the coil again.
