In this article, I’m gonna introduce the Vaporesso Xros Mini Kit. As you can probably guess it is the offspring of the Xros Kit, so what difference it comes with? Let’s find out together.
Firstly, the Xros Mini is 14mm shorter than the original but the battery capacity has increased to 1000mAh compared to 800mAh. However, a few features of the original are missing from the Xros Mini – there is no airflow adjustment and no fire button – instead this is draw inhale only. An LED indicator is provided which changes colour to display the battery capacity remaining. For charging use the USB Type-C port which has a 1A charge rate and apparently can be fully charged in less than an hour. The output is also the same at either 11W or 16W.
The original Xros was designed as a really simple device – where you simply refill the pod and bin it when the coil performance has deteriorated. Remove the mouthpiece and add up to 2ml of your own e-liquid, then you are good to go.

As for the pod, it can store up to 4ml of e-juice and is refillable via a bottom filling port. Evaporators included with purchase are a 0.2Ω GTX Mesh Coil and a 0.3Ω GTX Mesh Coil, both of them are replaceable and appear to be a “push in and pull out” style. At last, you can tailor the airflow to your preference by covering the air inlets on the side of the device with your finger. All in all, I think the Target PM80 is an ideal choice for those MTL lovers. Just give it shot!
Pods of the Degree come with two versions, both versions have a 2mL capacity and can be refilled via an easy-access PTF filling port. Airflow is located on the mouthpiece to prevent leakage and the filling port is adjacent, so you don’t have to remove the pod to top off the juice reservoir. Moreover, the Degree has a 0.69″ OLED screen which will indicate “low e-liquid” to notify you when a refill is required and the device will not fire until the pod’s juice level is adequate. Heating elements are different according to the different pods. Inside the CCELL pod is a 1.3ohm CCELL coil, it is best with nicotine salt based e-liquids. Or, you may prefer the MESH pod, it has an integrated 0.6ohm meshed coil which is best for standard e-liquids.
The temperature control suite is comprehensive and can utilize a wide range of wire compositions to create the ideal vaping system. Featuring a solid mono-color design or a two-tone colored gradient, the mod is visually striking and is finished in a soft-touch rubberized coating to prevent any drops and falls, ensuring a tactile and ergonomic hold.
In addition, the coils are installed with a threaded fashion and come in a 0.35ohm and 0.2ohm single and dual coil resistance option. The refill system is accessed by sliding the top cap back, revealing the singular bean-shaped fill port. The coils are significantly large, featuring big individual juice inlet holes that correspond to a particular heating element within, preventing leakage and preserving flavor.
